I'm starting to think crazy!Erik is in fashion or something. My sister said the Vegas one was extra crazy. Broadway one was all about the crazy - though there were moments where this desperation behind it shows through and Christine reaches out to him and it was beautiful and horrible. But then back to the crazy.
Eeeee it sounds awesome anyway despite Crazy Edward Phantom. Oh Stephanie Meyer what have you done to the world of gothic romance. Shame on you. >:( (Also lol forever that he didn't catch her. When I saw it with Meg, our Phantom didn't even try, but trying and failing is hilarious.)
It really was so funny. Caught her by the arm juuuuust as she swooned. And then laid her down, with a look of, "Well, THAT didn't work." He did sweep his cloak over her at least. One gentlemanly gesture in a sea of batshit crazy.
Gina Beck was Christine, Simon Bailey was Raoul, and the Phantom was Ramin Karimloo. I'm tempted to get the soundtrack - it really was quite good.

Craziness aside, that sounds so awesome.
