An hour for common sense
So the all important meeting that we had to go to was about a couple of people had been burgled because (a) someone let the stranger in the building and (b) the victims didn't have their apartment doors locked. So they had a police officer out to tell us these things, as well as to call 911 if we see anything suspicious.
We were also told not to confront the criminals, we are to call the police. And that if there are trespassers (people will walk their dogs through here, kids will come and hang out here by the picnic benches) tell them once to go away and if they don't call the police. If they come back a second time, call the police.

Anyway, I guess the majority of the people there needed to hear that. Good to know, though, that security is taken seriously here.
