I decided to gift myself with a paid account once again. I miss this place, I missed the perks of having a paid account, and I affirm that I can afford a mere $20 a year for something I enjoy so much.
Christmas was low key, but good. Robert accompanied me to church. The service was lovely and we learned about the metaphysical interpretation of the Christmas story. Then we went to his place where I cooked for he, his girlfriend Monica, and myself. And we watched Walking Dead and visited until about 6:00, when it was time for Robert and Monica to go to her mom's for Christmas.
I spoke with my cousin, Jack three times in the past week, which is a record. But it is good that we are reconnecting again. He's always been more a brother than a cousin to me.
The last bout of depression has been kicked to the curb, thank God. Now I can drop some of the weight I picked up during that time.
