good movie
On the weekend I watched what is now one of my favourite movies.
A new favourite because it wasn't a typical substance-less, has-to-be-happy-ending, america-saves-the-day kind of movie... No, this one was raw, in-your-face, real-life sort of stuff.
OK, so I had tried doing a good write-up for it just now, but really couldn't do it justice. It's a movie that really stuck with me and I suppose I'm still thinking about it. My heart just broke for the person at the end. In fact I think this movie is the only one in recent memory that, while watching, has made me cry...
But all I can say is I would highly recommend seeking out an Australian movie called "2:37" (as in the time). Maybe Movie Village in Winnipeg will have a copy...
