I was supposed to register to vote in South Africa's general elections, taking place 27 April. I didn't. There's only tomorrow left. I've promised myself I'll be at the registration station at 7:30am sharp with my sister. My mom couldn't give a fuck, but I do. I think it's important to have a say in how your country's run. Even if your voice is small, it's still something.
Gah! Weather changed for the weirder. Thunder clouds came over. Now it's 10x hotter because it's humid. And you can smell the ozone. Even the breeze is warm. I love thunder and lightening, but for the love of God, don't knock out the power or my modem!

Eegads! Just remembered a rather odd dream I had last night. Was back at the farm. We used to live on a wine farm when my dad was involved in vitnery. Beautiful place. If I had the money I'd buy that farm back in a heartbeat and live there all by myself for the rest of my life.
To the point, I was part of a goodwill expedition to war-ravaged Pakistan, although in my mind it looked more like Afghanistan. We were accompanied by a group of Green Berets with a secret agenda. They looked just like the bunch from A Soldier's Sweetheart. I tried talking to one, and he said there was a group already in Pakistan who were going to fuck-up royally. Go figure we were ambushed and our convoy gutted. There was fire everywhere. I wanted to help, but it was all over so quickly. When I woke up I was back at the farm, "recovering", on the lawn with the LOTR crew. Andy Serkis comes to mind most clearly, because he was just so much fun to talk to.
Then a runaway moose showed up. This may have something to do with the news snippet I saw on TV last night about a runaway moose falling down some guy's window in Utah. Anyway, I thought this moose was going to attack me, but he turned out to be a friendly bugger who liked nudging people...quite hard.
Weird dream. But it was nice talking to Andy with his debates and intellectual convos.
Here be my latest LOTR icons. At which point I should say that my icons qualified to get me accepted at
love_icons, so finally I have a safe place to post my non-LOTR stuff.
