another update?
i'm going to start updating this thing more often. i know i say that a lot, but really, i should. i spend enough time dicking around on the internetz anyway, may as well have something to show for it? haha.
so i think i've decided on my full program for my recital:
mozart bassoon concerto in b-flat major
hindemith sonata for bassoon & piano
telemann sonatina in c minor
piazzolla "muerte del angél"
now i just gotta practise a shit ton!!! my concerto is pretty much down, though. just a few problematic areas. and the telemann is fairly simple. i'm so mad, i could only find a recording of the telemann with fucking RECORDER on amazon MP3. it is originally a recorder piece, but.. blurgh. well, after my recital, i'll have a bassoon recording. hahaha.
we had our wind ensemble concert tonight. it went pretty well, better than i expected. only a couple hiccups.. like when paul gave us a bar of four in what should have been a five. but apparently that was because he was distracted by the saxes fucking up. anyway, a bunch of us went to chili's afterwards, and that was pretty fun. paul came too! now i feel like a fatass. i need to stop eating so much shit.
