So...I find it's easy to talk to people about Jesus and my faith when everyone knows I'm the Chaplain Assistant and they kind of expect it. I can smile and say, "Jesus loves you", or when someone asks me how I am, respond with "The Lord blesses me every day", and they smile and accept it.
Shouldn't it be like that...all the time? Shouldn't everyone know I'm a Christian, and expect me to behave in that way, and talk about the good news of Christ? Why is it easier to tell people I'm a Christian...when they already know?
Not that soldiers don't need to hear it as much as everyone else...but that everyone else needs to hear it as much as soldiers.
"And would I wash my hands again?
Would I deny my Savior when
He hung inside the public square?
Did not my silence put Him there?"
