Ok, sorry, the Livejournal for some reason doesn't let me post long entries. here's what happened the next day!
TIME: ONE YEAR BEFORE ERYN'S ENTRY
the next day, I expected everything to be back to normal. to my surprise, when I went to Philosophy, Eryn sat next to me and held my hand. not a big deal? it sure was for me. I don't think I learned a thing that day, I was so focused on the fact that this girl who should be laughing at my confession was instead HOLDING MY HAND. in public! she even held my hand on the way to chapel as well.
inspired, I went back to my room, got out my guitar, and wrote a love song, thinking of her with every word. I tried to make it the most honest, holy, heartwarming love song I'd ever written. I was pretty proud of it.
that night, I went back to her village, this time with my guitar, having promised her I'd serenade her in honor of Valentine's Day. I sang many love songs, some I'd written, some I hadn't, but with a story behind each one. I explained to her what each song meant to me before I sang each one. finally, I got to her song, and just launched into it with no explanation. when I finally got done, I glanced up and saw she was tearfully smiling, as she asked,"who did you write that song for?" what else could I say, but "you." that really made her teary-eyed. and we prayed about it again, and this time, the Lord of Love bestowed His blessing upon two new lovers...and we began a beautiful romance straight out of fairy tales that continues on to this day, and will for years to come.
