Remember that time I said I was going to, like, post more? I'm a big fat liar. :( LOL Work has been hell lately. It could be muuuuuch worse, but I'm just super frustrated right now and scheduling is a fucking nightmare when everybody has at least 1 other job AND goes to school. One of mine got a job from 11a-7p every weekend. Our latest weekend shift starts at 6. Weekends are REQUIRED, because of the nature of the business. So I am super pissed at the moment. It's only a temporary thing through Christmas, but it pisses me off nonetheless. I think she's still in her probationary period, so I could fire her if I needed to with no reason. Plus, she couldn't work Black Friday at my store because she had to go home and she is from a town about 2 hours from here. Ok, fine. So I let her have Black Friday off and I work it myself. Well, it turns out this other job she got? Yeah, they were training her on Black Friday. It's in the same town my store is in. Sooo... apparently she didn't need to go home that damn bad. I am just so super pissed. Grrrr.
Anyway... I got a KitchenAid stand mixer today as an early Christmas gift from my BFF. It's so absurdly amazing. I've named her Begonia. :) I am making Chocolate Chip Meringue Cookies! So I am SUPER excited about those, being a fat kid.
Husband and kids abandoned me and went to Branson for the weekend with his parents for Thanksgiving. This year was harder than the last couple of years for some reason. I think I might go with them next year, and stop giving a shit if the store bursts into flames the second I leave city limits. I need a vacation! Or a dog. For the first time in awhile, I have a completely free evening. No obligations. I could do anything I wanted. So, I'm probably going to gorge on those cookies like a fat fat and watch "Elf" off of my DVR. LOL I live a wild and crazy life. LOL
