Sponsoring a child in Ghana
It's official, over 12 hours ago I decided that instead of sitting around saying 'I wish I could help people in third world countries' that I should actually do it. And earlier today I officially started pledging £12 a month to sponsor a child and their community in Ghana. I should find out in the next week the name of the child I am supporting. I'm hoping that one day I could go across and visit their community to see how I am helping them.
I will write more on this at a later date, when i know more about this, and also to explain some thoughts I have had relating to this and all that jazz.
