Let's see

So the week with my parents gone on vaccation has been nice. A little quieter then before but that's ok. Aly has suddenly started taking naps again, so must be a growth spurt, or all the overtime play time she has been having when we go to Colin's baseball games. I haven't gotten nearly as much gardening done as I wanted, mostly for the fact that I don't know what I want to do with a few certain areas, and with the parents away, no one bounce ideas off of. Ok, that last comment only applies to my dad. If I were to ask my mom and hubby about gardening, the reply would be "Whatever you want to do is fine with me".

Aly has found a really close friend in the little girl next door. They play together constantly after she gets home from school and they play well together even though they are 3 years apart in age. Colin is still finding his "best friend" here, like he had in VA. It's hard for him, but there are a couple of kids on his team he gets a long with that might be good enough for him. As it is, no one will ever be able to fill the shoes of his first best friend in VA. I think it's that way for most kids when they move a great distance. The first best friend will always be the most special. '
