Hope you like the new me
I took a big leap today and got my hair cut quite a bit shorter than usual. I'm in the middle of a couple of serious job hunts (well, OK, one much more serious than the other) and needed to be able to walk into high-level business meetings and look like I belonged.
So, having thought about this for a while (and taking a deep breath), I had Celena cut my hair back. Just as women may cut their hair at the end of a relationship, this is part of a transition for me away from being a freelancer and into a committed relationship with an employer.
It was very interesting, as I felt myself become "lighter" as she trimmed away layers. I breathed that sensation and its energy into the ongoing spellwork which says "find good work, good pay, steady work..." and which has been chugging right along.
I like it -- it both fits in the office environment and also manages to capture who I am.
