I have lost control of the things that happen in my head.
So I signed up for dc_everafter, right? Yay, rainbows and unicorns and puppies abound! Until I outlined my story and realized it's going to be upward of like 90 k most likely. Naturally, I blanche at that idea since I'm a big ol' sissy and that much work scares me. Only thing is, I'm in love with this story idea and it's brilliant and all, but I start to have to ask myself...how the hell does one write a story based on horsemanship to cater to both equestrians and those who don't know a horse from a hole in the ground? O_o Conundrums!
Also have to ask...who the hell would even read this story? Personally, a hot man in tight pants and tall boots and a sharp overcoat and tophat on a giant black horse that looks like it just stepped out of a fairy tale is straight up porn to me. But alas, I wonder if others will share this view. Perhaps I should take a poll: dressage rider Dean and Cas - hot or not?
Either way, it's being written, but now I'm getting all whiny because I've spent more time plotting out the story then actually WRITING the story and I look at my doc now and groan because why won't it just write itself? Or why can't I enlist Misha, Jensen and a bunch of sexy expensive well-trained friesians and just make a movie instead? That would be better...yeah.
Bottom line: I want to spent all my time doing manipulations of Jensen and Misha on horseback instead of writing my mahoosive fic so everybody can know what the hell they're even looking at. Fail. :/
