2 handed plus 3 broad sword: 200 chivalry points. Knowing I'm completely insane: priceless.

I accomplished absolutely nothing today. Well, that's not entirely true.  I did some laundry.  And then I worried about getting a job.  The way I see it, this summer may be my last chance to sleep in and enjoy nothingness.  I'll be working for the next 40+ years anyway, so why start earlier?

Okay, I'm bored now.  There's just not much to do stuck at home all day.  No car.  Slow internet.  Sure, we've got 12 billion channels of satellite TV, but all I found worth watching was Batman Begins.  Oh.  Wait.  I already own that.

I finished watching the Original Star Wars Special Edition Trilogy (DVD) with commentary.  I wasn't aware that it was possible to use the word 'motif' that often.  Apparently it is though.  In fact, I'm going to use the word 'motif' as many times as possible in the rest of this update.  A motif of motifs.  It seems like the plural of motif should be...motive.  Or maybe the feminine is?  Le motif => La motive?

If you understood that, give yourself a few quest points.  I know I did.  For those of you who haven't spent any time with me in the last few weeks, I've been racking up quest points.  Basically I get quest points for doing anything.  When the quest is for a lady, I get chivalry points as well.  I get more chivalry points if I do the quest without being asked, and still more if the quest endangers me somehow.

However, it is possible to lose chivalry points.  It's actually quite easy.  Insults, hurling projectiles, and general un-noble behavior are all reasons to lose chivalry points.  But only if it's directed toward a lady.  One can attack a female who is not a lady, however, one will lose even more chivalry points for calling someone not a lady if she is, in fact, actually a lady.  So it's better to be cautious in such matters.

Of course you might ask, "What good are these points?"  I have absolutely no idea.  Ideally, you could use them to buy upgrades and such.  Like extra armor or hit points or new spells.  Like most ideal concepts, however, this doesn't actually work.  Chivalry/Quest points aren't really worth all that much.  Maybe I can use them to improve the ideal version of myself....
