Instead I'm trying to write this BA thing
But the chapters get jumbled in my head
It feels like lead

Of college.
Late last night I worked alone
That's when I heard the telephone
Headhunters spoke with tongues of honey
Weaving fever dreams of money
And the sound of ka-ching is so rare at the U of C
We work for free
This is the end
Of college.
"Fools", said I, "You do not know,"
"Research like a cancer grows,
Hear my words that I might reach you
Your major's track will soon defeat you."
With those words, to a lecture I am bound
Abandoning the sounds
Of college.
And then some students knock on wood
Pray for two letters and a hood
Now so much older than the new first years
With credit cards lost in such deep arrears
Some day they'll think, "If I'll end up at Google, I might as well go today,
I need the pay.
To make an end
To college."
And of course the required zombie and brain references of every practice. (Many mumbling mice are making midnight music in the moonlight, I like brains.) Because you can't get by without zombie or brain references. Zombie!Hen is going to be so excellent, as is "I wanna eat your brains". As is the Ninja v. Zombie concert, if we ever have one. Which we should. Because that would be cool.
