Some things are just too sad.
Stingray kills "Crocodile Hunter" Irwin I really feel for his wife and children... one thing I think is good, though, is that his children will have so many pieces of film to watch of their father that will keep him close to them throughout their lives. I think that is wonderful. And you have to give it to a man that died doing something he loved so much and felt so passionate about.

It's my day off, today. The amount of hours I will be having during the week is winding down now. I'll be working just Tuesdays and Fridays, and every other weekend until Sept. 20 when one of the other ladies goes on vacation (to Hawaii... they go every year... grr) and I'll be filling in for her till she gets back. She's also the one that is planning on retiring at the end of the year and if I do well enough, I might get that position.
I have to say that it's been REALLY nice being able to see Rick at work. We don't see each other a lot, because we work in different rooms, but sometimes I have to go into his room and get to say "hi" and if possible, we can take breaks and lunch together. It feels good to be able to do that. We make a point not to "fraternize" (for the lack of a better term) with each other, otherwise, though, because we don't want the bosses to feel they made a mistake having both of us work there.
Other than that, there isn't much going on here. Today I'm doing laundry and trying to talk myself into doing other housework, but I'm not winning the argument, as yet. Hey, what can I say... I'm kinda lazy.
