(no subject)
Kay, so three schools in a neighboring county have been closed due to Swine flu, and I really hope that doesn't happen here because I only have about three weeks til graduation. Honestly I'm surprised the schools haven't closed sooner; I mean, Florida is a tourist capital, you'd think the flu would've shown up here already. Anyway, schools are already opening up again (my cousins in Mexico get to go back to school on Wednesday), so I think the panic is dying down a bit, which is always good.
Anyway, this whole weekend I was volunteering at an art show. Super fun :D My feet hurt sooo bad though, and I had to smile the whole time which wouldn't be so bad if I could smile normally. Seriously, one side of my mouth works, the other side just kinda sits there, and I can't make a whole smile without showing teeth. Couple that with crooked teeth (really crooked) and you get a pretty bad smile. But I managed to hand out every gift bag I was given :D Go me. And I met some super cool artists. The other volunteers were also really cool, and I wanna volunteer with them again (I got the feeling that they organize that sort of thing regularly).
To top it all off my AP tests are this week. I did AP Government today, AP Calculus is Wednesday, and AP English lit is Thursday. The test for AP Studio Art doesn't really count as a test though, all we do is send in our portfolios; it's not like the other tests where I have to sit in a room for three hours writing essays and answering questions. I'm sure it'll all go well though :)
