I hear the rain

It's funny how suddenly, it raining outside, makes people feel so much better.

The rumor is that it hasn't rained in 6 weeks. It feels longer.

Edit .... until, of course, the power flickers out and it kills the computers. One of the ladies lost her week-end report she was working on.

Oh, and there's 2 sets of opened green beans on the Table.

Yeah, unless you're driving in Houston at 6:30am...

-or when it's freezing and you have to walk 20 mins to the train and you forgot your umbrella at home (even tho you brought it with you every other day that week *grumble*)...

Or when your car has a crack between the windshield and the rest of the car and water loves to seep thru it and make the damn car seat all wet. Fuck, I hated that.

Okay, here's a couple more rain/cold related woes:

I hate it when you step into a puddle and your socks get soaked. So, afterwards, you walk around with that horrid squish feeling and noise.

Second, I hate it when it's so cold out that it makes the condensation build up on the inside of your windsheild FREEZE.
This goes hand in hand with "frozen rain," which immediately turns to ice when it hits your windshield.
