Happy New Year
It's been one hell of a year. A wedding, a funeral, a graduation, a family holiday, and a close friend gave birth for the second time. It's had all the big milestones.
My family and I celebrated by taking Magpie to the family zone in Parramatta, and watching the early fireworks with her. She was a bit nervous about the noise, but she loved the music, the people, the colours, and she relaxed pretty quick.

After we put the kid to bed, sister and I stayed up eating chocolate liqueurs, drinking Midori, and watching the fireworks on TV.
Very enjoyable, family-oriented New Year's Eve.
(And now I'm watching Arashi's new year's performance! Yay!)
