DD is rightly getting on my case about not finishing those silky-nylon jammie pants I'd promised her ... LAST YEAR. And DS is getting on my case because his Incredible Hulk PJ pants are wearing out the bottom (they've been handed down through two boys already), and I have a bunch of Spongebob fabric waiting to go for him. AND DH is wondering when I'll get around to hemming his "new" pants, purchased 6 months ago.
*sigh*
I suck at time management... I feel like I'm stealing time to check my pared-down F-list and online communities.
I wanna write the stuff playing in my head so badly, and it's all coming out into the word processor, with my fingers keeping up almost at the same speed. This is good. This is fun. This is... TIME TO GO! To this thing! To that job! To the other place! (Stupid priorities always get in the way.)
But I'm JAZZED right now because finally, my community garden is going to get documented. The word is that the town will sell the property and relocate the garden, which is what we hoped wouldn't happen, but knew would have to (parse THAT!). I'm going to meet the photographer in a couple of hours. I'm going to expound on the glories of composting, and how it differs when you have space to work with, and a tiny suburban back yard with 5 neighbours hemming you in on the other side of your fences. And the garden location will be photographed, and then published in Organic Gardening magazine, and I will be able to slap it down on the council table at the meeting following its release (admittedly in February, 2009, a good 2 years after the original interview), and tell them: "LOOK AT WHAT YOU THREW AWAY, YOU UNBELIEVABLY MYOPIC MORONS."
