When he appeared, Kisara happened to be out of ammo. Careful not to let her trouble show on the surface, she made to approach him, one hand smoothing out the folds on her skirt while the other on her handbag's handle, not so far from the small gun she used to carry with her. Not quite a useful weapon on the circumstance, but still it helped her feeling more secure.
"Ah, if it isn't the blue-haired lady." The man's expression was just as neutral as hers. "Glad to see you. Shall we need to play the boring and formal protocol?"
"Not necessary", she assured him. She didn't miss the sparkle in his eyes when she took from her bag an odd-looking pendant. For seconds, she thought again about that weapon -ah, taser Lady Ishtar spoke about days ago. Maybe even her empty gun would suffice, to knock him out. Maybe it wasn't too late to retreat.
The stranger leaned in, his breath tousling a few strands of hair that dangled in front of her face, reveling in a long scar. She didn't flinch. Her hands just formed a fist before opening, letting him grabbing the golden item.
"Such a lovely lady. You really were serious about that bargain."
"Well? How about you do your part?"
"Already done. The guy has been released this morning, he should have reached your quarters a few hours ago."
Her throat was dry.
He continued, hands playing with the pendant's string "But don't be such in a rush, dear, you know our deal isn't complete." He rose from his seat. "Come with me."
Something was obstructing airflow to her lungs. She didn't move. They both knew what was coming.
Or rather, where they were coming to.
When she followed him, entering a black car that just stopped before them, never to return, she thought that sacrificing herself to save Chief Seto's life was worth it.

N/A: So here you go for a Nightshipping (with some Blueshipping that had couldn't helped entering. Blame my love-triangle tendancy. ><) I couldn't imagine something other than the angsty drama that seems to me pervade this shipping; I hope though it pleased you nevertheless.
I enjoyed writing this. Thank you for the shipping and the prompt! :D
Ahhhh *flails* This was superb, it was exactly what I was hoping for :D I'm glad you involved Seto, it made for more angsty drama, as you said. Thank you so much for writing this!
I'm so glad you liked it, I was afraid it didn't make sense at first. xD I hope grammatical and syntax mistakes didn't bother you too much (Just let me know if it was the case, I need to know what they were~)
And feel free to ask for another pairing and prompt, this just opened my apetite for more writing!
