Many died including Pippin Took, Elrohir (Maglor's friend and step-mother), and Maglor's father Feanor. Oh! And Mr. Frodo and Mr. Sam's aborted children. It's quite sad and many tears have been shed. But this being the fourth or so time that such an event has occured, one feels rather desensitised towards these sorts of events.

But in any case, while here on our way to Rivendell, I have decided upon something.
