X-Mas Meme-Da

STEP ONE
- Make a post to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
- If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.
- Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post so that the holiday joy will spread.
STEP TWO
- Surf around your friends list to see who has posted their list.
- If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Once a wish has been granted, it will be crossed off.
You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.
There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.
More seriously, this is somewhat of a way to handle the couple of people who have asked me what I want for x-mas. No particular order. I know some of this is "Haha, no way it'll happen".

01. LJ icons that are just for me.
I now have 15 user pics and a horrible temptation to go up to the 100. Haha. If you like one of my existing one's sayings, feel free to remake it with better graphics, I don't exactly have the best art program here. I always get disappointed with my own and switch 'em out as I go.
02. LJ Layout for lycorne
I've got a paid account now, and I'd like to make it all purty. But, I don't have the time or the LJ-specific knowledge to do it. Help? *makes puppy dog eyes*

03. Art for my walls *smirk*
Art of some of my comic characters from some of the uber-talented people on my friends list would be awesome, but I'd prefer to steal some original works from a couple of you. I think you know who you are artist-people, I'm threatening to steal your paintings and drawings frequently anyways.
04. Art supplies.
I'm always killing my art supplies, and the number one thing I can't keep enough of around, non-photo blue pencils. Gah, I love 'em, but they kill me. I never find 'em anywhere but at the art supply sections of some Auburn's college bookstores (which are frequently out-of-stock). I hear rumors of them being sold in packs of 12 online. Lies, evil lies sent to taunt me I say!
That and Sketch books. All sizes. I eat through them because I draw all my web comics in sketchbooks now, each panel by its self (or with 1 or 2 others on a page).
05. Hot Tea stuff
I've been drinking a lot of hot tea lately... so weird. After visiting the store in Atlanta, I'd really love to have their electric tea-maker thingy or something similar, and some of their hot teas. There are actually some fairly cheaply priced teas on there, like 5 bucks... I should pick some out and buy it myself, hahaha.
06. Wicked and/or Rent the musical soundtrack.
I actually want to own a legal copy of these. Weird.... haha.
07. BAMM gift cards
Haha. BAMM eats my monies. But I love the pretty books. Manga and Fantasy novels. By the by, I'm advising the Dreseden Files by Jim Butcher as a new read.
08. Sirius's Wand
Ha. I'm going to end up buying this for myself I'm sure. I'm just gonna wait until after I've Christmas-shopped for my friends and family, and paid for wedding gifts.
09. Sewing Machine
We all laugh muchly. This is an investment I need to make myself in the next few months. This is my totally-completely-impossible-wish-list-thing-ma-jig.
10. The San Diego Job.
