fun times
So I am managing my friend who is going through the process of Miss National Asia Pageant. She cleared fist round as we just found out a few hours ago and now I just cannot study. At all. In order to boost her self confidence when doing the bikini strut we are going on a hard-core till we drop regimen. And yes, I plan on going through this pain with her as we are best buds and will share her glory (so look forward to me in a sash doing a thumbs up cheesy pose).
This means every day of the week, a couple of hours each day just aerobic and toning conditioning. MMmmm and less, more healthy foods, too. So, we already know her talent (piano), but we still need to find her "ethnic" wear and bikini and evening gown. I think I might have the "ethnic" dress (a chinese gown my grandfather brought back from china for me) and all we have to do is get that altered. I'll, of course, have to give it to her (since I'm more wide-set than she) but I think I have two black/red gowns anyway so no biggy. And, we'll see if my silver Jessica McClintock dress works for the evening wear. Bikini....we'll have to find a hot one!
And, apparently there is a title for Miss Charity (whoever raises enough funds for the pageant since it is in it's second year) so if anyone knows a good fundraiser let me know! And yes, I am totally into this. Who knows, maybe I'll do it next year!!! J/K (even though I technically could) But I make her do all of the work while I get to share in some of the glory (just a minor bit)!
