It's been a stressful few days...

But hopefully that part's over.

Got a notice on my car saying it was in violation of the 3-days-sitting law... when it soooo wasn't. It had actually been there less than a day.

On the plus side... it was also a notice that my registration was expired - I think this marks the first time I've ever been given a WARNING by the police for something being wrong, rather than a ticket.

On the down side... my phone-tag with the cop who put the notice on my truck indicates that the 3-days warning came from a complaint from someone, which means that someone falsely reported my truck abandoned. Truck also had a flat tire the same day (side-wall puncture). Am now trying to puzzle out whether the someone who falsely reported my truck abandoned also happened to stab my tire with something pointy the same day, and whether this someone is the person that Noah called the cops on about 2 days ago.
(When speaking to the cops and this someone, Noah happened to mention that the truck was "his"...
Suspect: "blah blah blah my black truck over there..."
Noah: "You mean MY black truck?"
Suspect: "no!! Mine's the one behind it...")

hm...
Well, I don't know for sure it was intentionally punctured, so maybe it's coincidence.

So anyway, got the tires replaced this morning, only to find out this afternoon that the tires were warrantied somewhere else... But frantic driving around, chatting with both companies, etc, and the warranty place will now pay for the portion of my repairs that it would have paid for anyway, so that's ok. I just now have many huge tires in my truck bed, and there they will stay till I turn them in to the warranty place on Saturday.
So... good. Drive-y weekend ahead, but good.

Still...
BLERG!!! BLERG, I SAY!!!

Going to ignore it all, focus on work and school, and have a beer.
And stare at the 4 eggs that my 3 chickens have laid over the past day and a half - their first ones!!! WOOT!!! They are no longer freeloaders!!

...That's good. I won't have freeloading chickens here. They's got to pull their own weight... and they're pretty heavy birds.

So, yeah... stuff and things... and stuff.
