It's the 99 points bitch calling~

At first-

I wrote an English essay worth 99(/99)points~!!

I can't belive it! I met Suojanen yesterday, the one of the English teachers who checked my English matriculation exam, and she glowingly announced that I and Aurinkokuningas were the only ones to write essays that scored the highest points this spring. My jaw hit the floor and I just stared at her, without really understanding what the heck she was saying. I had thought my essay was a piece of crap (since nowadays I read so much fan fiction&entries of people who's native language English is, and srsly, my essay really wasn't even near to being as good as those texts), but.. uh, obviously it wasn't. *purring* I couldn't stop smiling the whole day, I felt so flattered^^ My text was a story about the art of gift-giving, and I tried to make it a little fic-like (so I could've sank as many of those adjectives I've learned from fics and comments as possible into it) -and I guess I succeeded~<3 *hyper*
I screwed up the other parts of the exam, so despite my glorious essay, I'm not automatically getting a L. At the moment my English grade will be L, but if the matriculation exam board decides to lower the essay points, the L will turn into an E.. which isn't bad either^^

So, finally, the matriculation exams are over!! *dance dance dance* I had the Italy exam on Monday, and I'm not even sure if I passed it, since.. since I didn't bother to review any grammar or the vocabulary lists I had. I was supposed to do that on the previous weekend, but I was way too tired on Saturday, so I ended up napping on the couch and watching Sailor Moon with Paula (no, not the anime series, but the live action thinggy, which is, if even possible, even more awful.. but, there's the turtle boy I'm starting to addict to..^^')
In the evening I went out with Nanni. At first we headed for a cup of hot chocolate, and then we drived aimlessly around for an hour, blethering away and laughing at the teenagers. Around 11pm Nanni parked the car and we decided to go and have a couple of drinks at the nearby bar. We met Olli there, who I forced to buy my drinks, since I had forgotten my papers home (*sighs*). I've not needed any papers so far, so I guess I do look like an adult, but still, it would've been just my luck to run into a overzealous bartender. Olli informed us about the rest of the gang being downstairs, where we soon scurried. Ville and Pekka greeted us drunkenly joyfully, and somehow we ended up spending the evening with them. They're such gorgeus guys, very vivid and very jabbery. They promised to become each others' bestmen right front of us, and then they started talking about fat&hairy American men wearing bikini.. Yeah, I didn't want to know either-.-
We drove the boys to Seurahuone quite precisely at 01.00am and continued the sensless driving for one more hour. What I love most in Nanni is that she's not a friend of mine anymore -no, she's so much more, she's like the left side of my brain or something!^__^ We can tell each other anything we want without being scared of someone getting pissed off. Usually I censor what I blurt out of my mouth, but to her I'm able to tell all my biggest fears and cravings, even the ones without any sense, the ones I try to hide deep inside.. and I know she's listening, no matter how far the issues are from her current life.

On Sunday.. I wasn't quite sober, so I abandoned the last shards of hope of studying.
I got up quite late, after noon, and then I ate breakfast.. twice. (I'm such a hobbit! xD) Katja was baking delicious carrot/cheese cake, and since the oven was already heated up, I decided I should finally try out the mango muffin recipe. (It's an essential part of velvetgunfire's Kagrra, fic *lol*) Well, I didn't have rum anymore (and I know very well who had sneaked into my room to finish the bottle *glaring at Katja's bedroom door*), and because the mango pulp was quite tasteless I added some apricot to the pastry, but all in all, I'm quite happy about the result, and I recommend the recipe with love^__^ Oh, but if you decide to try it out, remember to add a little more sugar to the pastry than the recipe says -not much, just a dash.

I cleaned the kitchen and helped Paula to cap some DespairsRay PVs, and then I plopped myself in a couch and started watching Reservoir Dogs with Katja. I had some cider left and we tackled the cans eagerly as eating the muffins.. a little too eagerly, if you asked me, since I got a little tipsy. Don't laugh at me, I know I'm terrible at boozing *lol*
After the movie I watched Gilmore Girls and napped, and then Katja dragged me out. We went biking (over 10kms.. *cry* It's not much, I guess, but i'm in such a bad form that it felt like biking around the planet). I don't know why she insisted me to come, since we both listened to music while biking, and if some words were audibly spoken, the conversation was about me whining and katja telling me to shut up. She was very excited afterwards, and now it seems our bike trips will become daily. Sisterly bondage? Dunno.
So, no reading on Sunday.

On Monday, as staring at the blank answer sheets and optical sheets, I felt quite numb. I didn't understand a thing! It's the worst feeling in the world *a defeated sigh* I was about to leave the test room without writing an essay, which would've meant that passing was impossible due to the itty-bitty amount of points, but somehow I squeezed the needed 100 words onto the paper and ran out of the building as fast as possible. (I've studied Italy only for two years, so that's why the test wasn't as comprehensive as the English exam, in which the essay's length was supposed to be between 150 and 300 words.)

I don't know about the history exam yet.. my teacher Wanted To Talk About It, which surely means I'm in trouble *bleh*

Writing movie reviews tomorrow, off to bed now.

xoxoxo
