Uhm, this is driving me crazy! You know how you sometimes find a record that just stays and stays in your player? You just can't take it away cause immediately after trying it you feel bad, sad and confused. I bought from second-hand shop Savage Garden's album "Affirmation" and I've been playing it now 24/7 for three days! And I have this strange feeling I'll keep on playing it cause I can't kill my inner pop-junkie. I'm madly in love with rock but sometimes I just have to admit that good pop album (finding one is rare) is a piece of art. "Affirmation" surely is. All these beautiful ballads and very catchy melodies, oh my, pure evil! "The Animal Song" has stolen my heart.. I adore Darren's soft, very austrailian voice and when they've conected it to these bloody freaky jungle drums.. OMG..
SAVAGE GARDEN - The Animal Song Lyrics
When superstars and cannonballs are running through your head
A television freak show cops and robbers everywhere
Subway makes me nervous, people pushing me too far
I've got to break away
So take my hand now
[Chorus:]
'Cause I want to live like animals
Careless and free like animals
I want to live
I want to run through the jungle
The wind in my hair and the sand at my feet
I've been having difficulties keeping to myself
Feelings and emotions better left up on the shelf
Animals and children tell the truth, they never lie
Which one is more human
There's a thought, now you decide
Compassion in the jungle
Compassion in your hands, yeah
Would you like to make a run for it
Would you like to take my hand, yeah
[chorus]
Sometimes this life can get you down
It's so confusing
There's so many rules to follow
And I feel it
'Cause I just run away in my mind
Superstars and cannonballs running through your head
Television freak show cops and robbers everywhere
Animals and children tell the truth, they never lie
Which one is more human
There's a thought, now you decide
Compassion in the jungle
Compassion in your hands, yeah
Would you like to make a run for it
Would you like to take my hand, yeah
My history test went kinda fine on Monday, I could've screwed up worse than I did (what do you mean, wasn't the nuclear missile crisis in Cuba in the 70's? ^^')..
I have the test of psychology tomorrow.. I don't know why I am readin psychology cause it's so booooooring. At least the teacher is. There's too much names and theories and difficult concepts.. *awh*
Hell's bells-- Oh I miss Tristan from All Creatures Great and Small! Peter Davison did so awesome role as Tristan, and I worshipped Robert Hardy as Siegfried.. Really, Hardy is the only reason I got excited about the forth HP film. Yay, I loved him in Pride and Prejudice. I'd love to see Midlemarch, he's starring it too..
Damnet. Now I can't think anything else than Tristan's gorgeus, mischievous smile.. If there's someone who can compete for the award of The Perfect Smile with Dom, it's Peter Davison. Though he's nowadays.. something like sixty.. He kinda disappeared after Doctor Who.. Well, for me he'll always be the twenty-year-old cute vet from England. :)
And I've been thinking about fan-made music vids. I've lately seen very gorgeus stuff (f.e. in Lostvideo Island) and I think I could try something too. I have some fantastic ideas.. Well I'm kind of sure I get bored very fast cause it'll be tricky for someone like me (who is impatient and who is on the black list of every damn computer in the world.. xD). Has somebody seen any vid based on songs of Christian Walz? I was listening his latest album at the weekend I noticed his lyrics in some songs would work perfectly in some sort of CC/Charlie -thinggie.
Yes, now test books are calling, gotta go. *urf*
