I'm your Mississippi Princess, your California Queen

GoF, yeah. (It's two minutes later than.. two minutes ago so it definitely counts as "later".) I've seen it twice now, at first in Tampere with Katja (as I said, we lost Essz and she was gonna see it with Julian anygays, and Kata disappared with her mom) and a few hours ago with Jo here in Huittinen. It's the first Potter I've seen twice, and that's really something. I like the books a lot but the two first adaptions of the books are terribly dry and Daniel just can't act. Now he was slightly better, though he can't do the crying yet. I've also been so disappointed with the casting with every part I wasn't waiting too much anymore.

I was positively surprised. This was a good movie -if we don't compare it to other good films, if we use this very special Potter-meter. There's some actually beautiful and funny scenes, like when they introduce the other schools and the whole Quidditch Championship -happening. The guy who plays Viktor Krum is absolutely amazing piece of casting. He doesn't match with the image I had of him and at first I was a bit bothered cause of it but then.. yeah, there's something silently charming in him. I love his eyes, the way he glances at something, shortly and sharply. Cedric Diggory worked well too, he reminded me of one guy. He felt very warm and.. real, too. His death was lame, though.
Rupert Grint, still the most talented of the Mighty Triad. He's so natural. And the twins, they're great too, but it's sad their roles suck. They have some really insane lines in the books, why don't the directors and writers snag a few of them? *murmers* They've waisted the presence of great and absolutely sweet and wonderful Robert Hardy too. *sobs* Miranda Richardson's as Rita is a bullseye. And again, not enough screen time. I know they can't give us everything and 2h40 min is a quite long movie but still, less Harry's frightened eyes and more sidekicks. The story would come more alive. That's why LotR is so touching film, you can actually believe in each and one of the characters, you know them and love them.

Alan Rickman, Jason Isaacs, great job again. So much charm, so much invisible power, so much energy. So much everything. And awesome Ralph Fiennes, omg! I was scared to death when i head they had casted him but he totally rocked my socks. How he whispers, how he raises his hands, how he.. wow. He really is The Villain of The Year. So multiplex guy. Can't belive he's the nice and lovable guy in The English Patient too. O.o

Something's still missing but if the development keeps going on, the last movie can be pretty stunning. ^_^
