Frozen.
I was going to update on Monday, whining how I'm dying here with -18C. I was too busy with Japanese homework then to do that. Well, today I'm going to whine that I'm freezing to death as well -but today it's -24C (converter says -11F)!! This is ridiculous! And the forecast lady said this ain't getting any better anytime soon. Sure, there's been a few days as cold as today before during this winter but usually the air warms up quickly. One or two cold days in a row is normal and sort of maybe acceptable but, heck, a full week is not ;0; God only knows how long this is going to continue.
I got my camera back, yey! The battery is charging now, so when it's done I'll post pictures -finally! :D
Also, I got my copy of Kagrra,'s Hyakki Kenran two weeks ago, and for the first time in my life, I won in a lottery! ♥ CDJapan hosted a Kagrra, fanstuff lottery for those customers who had preordered the album, and dangit, I was one of the winners! I didn't win the signed poster but that's okay, I have one already (they had an autograph session when they were in Finland). Instead, I received a sticker, a digiphoto and a clearfile^o^ I'm thinking about framing the photo, it's really nice. I'll post a pic of it in my picspam :)
The album itself is very Kagrra,. I was expecting a bit more, something mindblowing seeing it's their last CD but now I think that perhaps it really was time for them to quit. The album is well-balanced, smooth and has a sense of wholeness about it but it sounds a lot like their two previous full-lengths. Maybe they saw they had started to repeat themselves and decided it was time for a break?
Anyway, my favourite piece is Kikan. I love harder, faster Kagrra,! The single Chigiri stands out too, it's catchy and perfectly Neo-Japanesque -if only there was koto, then it would be even more awesome :D The PV could've been a bit more artsy too, to celebrate the visual looks of the boys but the nice colors and ever so cool Isshi make up for it a lot.
I've also found my candidate for the upcoming parliamentary/general election. Juha managed to piss the living hell out of me by basically yelling at my face how stupid the Green Party is. I think that, partially at least, his outburst was because he's very strongly against immigrants, and although my candidate is Finnish and speaks fluent Finnish, he's half-African=black skin color. And, to make it worse in J's eyes, he's openly homosexual. Juha is sometimes very, very stupid young man. (He has taken a liking to this national party that's all about being patriotic. There're problems with our immigrant policy, I'm not denying it, but compared to f.ex. Greece our situation is very good. The party is strongly "Finland for Finns" striven, and clearly sees a white man better than any other type of person -racist party, in other words. It saddens me to see it has gotten very popular lately.)
