I got a notification from the post office that my CDs are stuck at customs. Well, because I had to go to the library anyway I thought I could go and pick up my package while I was on it.
The library of our university's main campus is split into... four? different buildings. Last week I found out I wasn't allowed to borrow books anymore because I had four books that were overdue over a month, and the penalty had grown pretty high. So, last Thursday, I went to one of the libraries to return three books out of four. I also paid the penalty, and I thought I was fine. Well, I needed a book for a report but the machine complained my library card wasn't valid. That was when I learned that to be able to borrow books again I have to return all of them. I thought returning most of them AND paying the penalty was enough. Well, NO. Of course I didn't have the fourth book with me since it belonged to a different library, and although the libraries aren't far away from each other, I still find it annoying to go from one place to the other.
Today I went to return the last book. After the long, quiet summer break, it was surprising to see the campus swarming with people. It took a while to figure out that oh yes, even though I have one more holiday week left, the freshmen have already started. It was quite exciting to see the new people buzzing around.
AND THEN I WENT TO THE GODDAMN CUSTOMS. The procedure was quick, the officer was nice, I didn't have to pay a lot to get my package out but... To know I have paid 70 euros for an album and for a single kinda hurts, especially because the single is BAAAAAAAD. Uh. Alice Nine, I really really hate loving you sometimes. I think I'll grow onto the last one of the B-side songs (Namida no Aru Basho), and solar eclipse has its moments but in overall, the single is pretty "in one ear and out the other". Also, maybe it's because I and
tigerist were talking about the single and she happened to mention this, but I paid more attention to Shou's singing than usually and yes, he sounds somehow wrong.
To my surprise, my favourite thing about the single turned out to be the Pachinko Sengoku Musou version of the PV. IT'S SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE ACTUAL MUSIC VIDEO. The editing is nice and flowy, the game scenery really fits the song.
Oh, and my luck's real shit sometimes XD; I told my sister when I was ordering the CD that even though I hoped the first press bonus poster to be Saga, I wouldn't mind getting the other members either -EXCEPT for Hiroto because he looks somehow retarded with the current hair, and also, he tends to overpose.
Guess who I got? Yes, Hiroto. *headdesk* My sister said he looks like Sanji in the poster picture and told me to draw him that curly eyebrow -shit, I'm tempted to do that 8D
(But at least the cardbox in which the poster was shipped is cute.)
I'm listening to Madrigal of Decadence now and gooosh, it's good. Like, really, really, really good♥ I'll come back gushing over the album when I've listened to it more properly.
