but I needed something to cheer me up, so I purchased the following movies from discshop.fi:

.Lords of Dogtown
(my second favourite Heath film ever ♥ I saw it at dad's a while back and enjoyed it truly. Though I'm not interested in skating or surfing, the movie's warmhearted script and talented young actors (Heath Ledger, Emile Hirsch...) lured me to love every minute of it~<3)

.Chinese Odyssey
(a Tony Leung film I haven't watched -or even heard of *lol* but the plot sounds muchos fun -read the Wiki article on it-, not to mention it has been produced by my god Wong Kar-Wai... I'm really looking forward to getting my hands on it^^b)

FINNISH MOVIE GEEKS HEADS UP! SubTV will be broadcasting several GREAT Wong Kar-Wai movies under the theme "Love&Anarchy" this spring, so keep an eye on the telly info, 'kay? :) Chunking Express was the one to open the series (agabjhgdhjbabaj♥♥). I myself am waiting excitedly for Happy Together because even though I own it on dvd, the subs are only on Norwegian or Swedish *lol* My Swedish is still decent, I think, although I haven't really used the language in a year or so, and the movie's very slow in beat and relying mostly onto imagery, not the lines... but yet, it will still be fun to watch the movie with Finnish subs, fully enjoying the beautiful story without constantly spending energy on understanding the texts.

lords of dogtown, chinese odyssey, tony leung, wong kar-wai, heath ledger, movies, happy together
