(no subject)
Dave did some work from home today...and the stories for the Haunted Hayride were handed to me with the instructions of 'fix this'. I had spent most of my time with Cody/Gary in the Haunted House and nothing to do with the Hayride...seems they really don't have a script for it and there is a long stretch where there is nothing happening. The storytellers have a lot of real ghost stories but none for the top side of the trail so I get to make something up. I decided to make one up about an observation tower that used to stand on the ridge which was real but .in my fake story it collapsed and killed several people and they are of course still wandering about on dark nights....
We went to town and bought some material for my costume...nothing fancy...just some black linen for a cloak. I thought about buying some black lace so I could have a veil over my face so I could see out but no one could really see that half my face was zombified or whatever it is that they are going to do to it. Jennie said that she could do that in just one hour by using her serger.
Went to Big Lots and bought a pair of wrap around sunglasses...finally.
I don't know how much longer this 'good' weather is going to last but I'm going to take full advantage of it! I'm going to be out everyday if I can be.
