Went to church today and then just watched TV for most of the day. At 3 we had a Council Level Venture Committee Meeting. It was very profitable. Our Committee Chair, Marie (Sassie's mom) said that Venturing is the 'step child' of the Boy Scouts and she is working hard on turning that around. This is the first meeting under her direction and she handed out assignments....and somehow I managed to be Assistant Chair person. We talked about the 100th anniversary of the BSA next year and a Scoutarama. Things were decided and we got a list of the Council Venture Crews that we are supposed to call to find out how things are going with them. The meeting took 3 hours!
Gary was there and so was Will..and his wife April was there...and once again she was nice and happy. I guess she's fine as long as she's not at camp.
