I THOUGHT I was going to get a quiet day at home.
First it took forever to get my contacts in.
Then I got bored and thought I would take my walk in the mall because it was raining. I thought I would get my haircut and was going to visit Office Max to get some things printed of my AHA DVD (our printer is on the fritz). I got to the mall and my eyes wouldn't focus. It was like I was walking in a fog.
After about ten minutes Dave called me and said that Jennie had had a flat tire...he was going to go to Books to get it and see if he could take it to be repaired. I met him there, he got the tires. We went and ate lunch together, he dropped the tires off and I went back to the bookstore....since Jennie had no car I was going to hang around to take her to her second job (people are out of work all over the place and she has two jobs...three if you count her sewing work). I had no sooner gotten in the store when Dave called with a 'YOU will NOT believe this...the muffler fell off the company car!" So I took Jennie to work and met him back at Books A million where he told me the tires couldn't be repaired so we decided to just get two new tires. We went and picked those up...and then I drove him to the garage to drop off the company car and then dropped him off back at Books where he claimed the white station wagon for his own...leaving Jennie without a car which means someone will have to go pick her up around 8:30 tonight. Its not going to be me.
I did finally stop by Office Max...got some things printed out and got a nice red three binder and some red folders for the class participant's handouts (it is the American Heart Association and their color is bright red!) but I didn't get my haircut.
I'm tired...and my neck hurts.
