She couldn't sleep with all the loud banging and gurgleing noises coming from the far wall. "Hmmmmm..throwing a shoe usually makes it stop."she thought to herself. Picking up a hiking boot from beside the bed she took aim and threw....with a solid thump the boot landed excactly as aimed,it was followed by a loud creaking noise,then a huge crash as the objective of the throw landed on the fire escape.
Olivia rushed to the now open window,looking down at the fallen air conditioner. "I wonder if Alex is up to a trip to Sears?" she said to herself.
