Sorry for being absent....today is the first day I have had off since I posted last(I did have a sick day last week but that doesn't count...I spent it throwing up all day..damn sinuses)...Nothing much is going on....just working...we are weaning the babies this week...it was very loud around the farm yesterday...mommas hollering for babies and babies hollering for mommas(not just neighing...it sounded like we were murdering horses...they were screaming)...Cindy said they will all probably be hoarse by the end of the week...heh...hoarse horses.
Damn my body...I wanted to sleep but no, I woke up at 7:30...grr...now I'm just puttering around on the internet...I might work on some icons later today...I've given up on writing anything, because I can never write more than a couple of paragraphs when I try...dammit.
We had a blast a Dragon Con...it was my first convention like that and I discovered there are lots more people out there weirder than me..*g*...it was fun meeting Torri Higginson and I almost got to meet Erin Grey...but she was gone when we made the circuit of the ballroom after seeing who all was there to do autographs...darnit. I want to go again next year and spend the entire weekend...it would be cool to go to more of the panels. The BSG panel had to have been my favorite though...Eddie was awesome...he really loves working on that show I think....and it was sooooo cool to have him get over a thousand people(the room was packed tight) to yell out SO SAY WE ALL! several times...woo!
Well I need more coffee....I leave you with some of the weird people from Dragon Con...they had cool costumes.
This guy was on our floor and we rode in the elavator with him...that's over $4000 worth of fake hair...he was on stilts and he was an awesome Chewie!
