Darts and boardgames

Weather:+24 degrees Celsius, sunshine.

Another weekend with the local roleplaying clubs - even if the University group had only one representative.

Usually we mainly play board games but the weather was so lovely that we spent hours outdoors playing darts. Darts is not my forte, because sometimes I can barely hit the dartboard; my best score was 17 (in the Finnish version with a simpler board and the longer throwing distance).

(I might have overdone it a bit; elbow muscles of my right hand still ache.)

Considering that many people were current and former technology students, it was probably inevitable that some guy begun to calculate the dimensions of the dartboard circles…

I also met an old friend from the time of my long tabletop campaign. He has two kids now.

When we eventually went indoors, we begun with the Great Dalmuti (potentially neverending game I don't particularly like). Settlers of Catan was not that interesting with only three people and Ricochet Robots went a bit too fast (even if the idea is interesting). My first game of Hacienda, however, went relatively well.

Some of the others kept playing and replaying the Betrayal at House on the Hill.

All this listening to the tunes of Richard Cheese and eating delicious cinnamon rolls one of the ladies made.

At Sunday there were more people to clean up than the usual three, including me.
