Last weekend there was another annual meeting of the Finnish science fiction societies. First there was the smaller meeting of the Science Fiction Writers:
The board of the Finnish Science Fiction Writers Association (sans me and the editor of our 'zine).
By 3:00 PM the general meeting begun with the affairs of the FinnCon association (umbrella organization supporting Finnish science fiction cons. Including eating random snacks, as you can see.
(The guy in the red sweater in the foreground of this picture is the main organizer of the science fiction club of the Åbo Academi, the swedish-language university in Turku.)
Everyone paid 5 € to pay for the rent of the place but, as usual, there was also the raffle (with 1 € a ticket). In the recent years there have been abundance of prizes to choose from.
After that there was the now-traditional book auction to pay for the trip of one fan to some foreign con.
This time we had to walk to Plevna restaurant to spend the rest of the evening.
