So disposables aren't a big thing over there?

Disposables are what most people use. I just couldn't face putting a few thousand nappies into landfill! So we're going with the washables. And a few eco-disposables on stand-by.

Car seats always look like way too much seat and way too little space for baby but that's because I always forget quite how small the little things are! (Their stuff takes up a disproportionate amount of space for the size of human 😉 )

Good luck with the nappies, reusables are awesome 🙂 (I'd totally recommend a tiny pack of disposables in the cupboard for the 'I've had no sleep, you've cried for hours and this just isn't working moment' using one is weirdly like a real treat to yourself!)

We've been given a packet of Naty eco disposables that someone had left over, with only one or two missing! So those are our first set of 'stand-by' nappies :)

The car seat is kind of huge with a teeny tiny space for Sproglet to fit into it! And yes, all the stuff is already taking over....so much stuuuuuffffff

So good to hear from you! I second getting a pack of disposables for emergency situations; the spawn were in reusable diapers and with the covers they were easy to slap together. I hope you'll keep us dinosaurs lj users updated :)

We've been lucky enough to be given a packet of eco disposables, which will be on stand-by. And which we might use in the hospital, depending how long I'm in for. We've got a range of washables so far, will see which ones we like...hopefully the ones which aren't the most expensive!! :)

I will try to keep LJ vaguely updated. I don't update anywhere very much!
