First liners meme
So, here's 2009, in first-line-from-each-month format.
Jan: I'm off to my old man's hovel with Jojo for a few days (I'm not being mean here, his house is actually called 'The Old Hovel'). (This is exactly what we're doing today, too!)
Feb: It snowed yesterday...it snowed yesterday evening...it snowed last night (someone scuffed the word 'cunt' into it in front of our garages XD) and it just keeps on snowing.....
March: Title: Sun, Sea, Sangria first line of fic: The ground was warm beneath him, the sun beating down. He could smell the vegetation, familiar yet so different. A scent of flowers washed over him on the cooling breeze.
April: Nowadays, living in Brighton (Hove, actually) and working in London the nearest I get to the countryside is charging through it on a train.
May: I is on Dreamwidth. Same name. Do me some friending, yø.
June: Title: Previous Convictions, first line of chapter: Gene stood in his office, mug of tea in his hand, surveying his team through the window.
July: Most of you will probably have read this on Jojo's journal...but today is the 10th anniversary of our first date.
Aug: I is back.
Sept: Lovely blog post from Stephen Fry on the difficulties and routines of writing.
Oct: I've been at work, on crutches, for the past two days.
Nov: Elfbert goes trick-or-treating, dressed up in a generally badass type way. (Trick or Treat Meme)
Dec: Why, for the love of God, can I no longer copy and paste from a Word doc to LJ and have it format correctly?
