Yesterday I had a great day out with friends, firstly at Gordon's Wine Bar (perhaps the darkest place on Earth??) but we sat outside and ate a great lunch. And then we moved to the bar outside the Royal Festival Hall. The weather was perfect and a good time was had by all - even though I left madly early (for me) at only about 7pm! (I had promised Jojo I'd be home at a reasonable hour!)
Today I had an amazing breakfast at a wee French place which was great - we sat there for two hours, eating brekky and drinking coffee and tea. And then Jojo and I headed off for the weekly shop. All the wee boys on the checkouts in Sainsbury's were getting neck ache looking out for Jordan - sorry, I mean Katie Price. She was in the store...and you knew this because she'd parked her very subtle horsebox outside. (the crests on the side are picked out with mirror 'gems' and sparkles....)
So now I'm chilling out, and trying to write some fic. Not really got much fic writing mojo right now. I'm sure it will return for the LoM ficathon (it better!). Right now struggling on the some original work and playing about with some Champions fic.
All the while having my eardrums blown out cos Jojo is watching the footy on full volume - it's live, but cos it's on sky here, he watches it mirrored on an Australian website...but it means we get all the Oz adverts, which is weird!
