key to it all...
This morning I arrived at work to find my boss's keys in the lock of our shutter. This meant that anyone who turned up could get into the building, turn off the alarm and unlock everything. Ooooops. So glad it was me finding his keys, not him finding mine!! Don't think I would have had a job if it had been the other way around!!
I'm enjoying work at the moment - we're busy with three projects, two of which are motoring right now. It's good, reasonably interesting work and everyone seems quite happy, which is nice.
We've sorted out or kitchen so, apart from the cooker not having any power yet, we're loving it! I'll post a picture - it's nicer than my kitchen at home!!
On a far less nice note, one of my friends died last week. She was someone I met through fandom, and was quite close to for a while. She was a fantastic person, full of life and humour. Always up for a laugh and never took herself too seriously. I'm currently in the phase of wishing I'd said more to her, been in touch more. But I'll always remember her with a smile - especially as we nearly set fire to T's carpet whilst preparing and drinking absynthe!
