rain rain go away
Mad rain today - truly torrential!
Work flooded, which sucked, and meant I was late leaving...but that didn't really matter in the end, as when I got to Clapham I discovered Victoria (the London terminal all my trains come out of) was closed because it had flooded with sewage. Which was nice.
But luckily I got on a totally random train which had been forced to terminate at Clapham, and which they were sending to Brighton.
Was hammering down with rain plus thunder and lightening - and I had to cycle home. Wearing only vest top and cut-offs. Got pretty wet, but at least I was home!!
Tomorrow I shall lift the rest of the flooded floor (lifted half of it this morning) and we shall continue trying to fix the pipes (fixed/unblocked some of them this morning too)
