I can do arithmatic in math class. I'm faster at it than most of my classmates.
however.
this has no bearing on being able to do arithmatic when it involves something that costs money. namely, Yarn.
27 stitches to 4 inches DOES NOT COMPUTE to 4.25 stitches to the inch. it computes to 6.75 stitches to the inch.
I have five skeins of green cotton in COMPLETELY the wrong gauge--and spend $30 on the yarn.
SOMEONE for the LOVE OF GOD either take it off my hands or shoot me. The knitting goddess is against me.
