I just got back from the Illustration building, where I had spent the last several hours talking to two guys in the field I hope to get into!
Dalton Grant, a teacher here at the Academy, also works at Pixar and his friend (whose name I missed) works at Blue Sky Animation!
We talked about The Academy, the industry, what I want to do and why... as well as a couple of theories about how the world works in general (this is how we started talking). We talked about my background, and that asked to see some of my original work. Dalton liked my coloured pencil work! :)
I am so jazzed right now!
But I didn't get some homework done... do you think my teacher will be mad..?
Tex told me that they just got in Moose Leather Floggers. This fascinates me. I think I'll check it out soon. haha!
I'm feeling upbeat, and nothin' will get me down.
I won't let it. :)
I'm going to do what I love, and with luck and training, get paid to do it.
