dude..
I spent 9 hours at the Warehouse today.
I got there at 8:20am and left at 6:20pm. Lordy Lordy.
No wait.. that's.... 10 hours. Holy crap.
I worked on Figure Drawing stuff. I was sitting on the drawing horse (getting up for ass-relief breaks, of course) for hours, and drawing with charcoal... Wow. But I feel like I learned something. and that perhaps I have improved. And that I have a new place to do homework. I think workshops and I are gonna get along well this semester. Hmm. :)
Met someone fun while waiting for my bus. He played D&D in High School and Uni. Married his Lady Gamer sweetheart, and he and I had loads of stories to swap. From projects/bosses you really weren't jazzed to work on/with, colour matching gouache, and many RPG stories. He and I had a lovely time bitching about the girlfriends who showed up and either a. tried to play pixies or b. sat off to the side and were like "no no, I'll just watch.." 20 minutes later "I'm bored.. when are we leaving?" GArgh! He is just as bitter as me, and I do tend to be a little spiteful on Thursdays. Just am. hehe. Though I haven't laughed so much since.. well since the last time I saw my dear LordCthulhu.
Went to Denny's with Elisa. Was greeted by my favourite waitress "How's my world-famous artist??" She called over as we were being seated. She was thrilled to get my thank you note, and helped Elisa get change for laundry-- she was gonna donate part of today's tips!! What a sweet lady! :)
Went to Borders. Got Lies My Teacher Told MeEverything Your American History Textbook Got Wrong by James W. Loewen It looks fascinating. :) I look forward to reading it. :)
