yesterday went swimmingly. i had a blast talkin' with Cheese, playing SoulCalibur2 with Cheese and later Jeremy (even though I was seriously having an off day.. weep!). And working on character sheets and back stories with everyone-- Andrey is very skilled with items... most of my players wound up with an AC (armor class) of about 40. But Andrey also has made me a few custom monsters. That man is good with numbers... and great with Phoebe. O and he let me borrow his Russian musical! *Squee!!* dancing russian dude! XD ever so happy!
Anyhoo Phoebe is planning on playing a Favored Soul-- found in complete divine, it is a self-taught class, and can be interchanged with or added to the standard classes in the PHB. Why does Phoebe get to have that? Because she wore me down, and can make it without bugging me for assistance whatsoever. And she can roleplay it right. I almost let her play a warforged, but stuck to my guns and made her play a human. Her armor class is not 40. She is going to be an 11-year old boy, and is going to roleplay accordingly. If everyone stays well into character, you get RP points. If Phoebe's character is too rational for such a little kid, she just might get points deducted. Also we will be working with SANITY POINTS. Your starting Sanity Points are calculalated by multiplying your wisdom score by 5.
Wis# x 5 = Sanity Points. You need to make a will save not to lose these occasionally. I will tell you when to roll.
Anyhoo... We ought to have our first meet on tuesday, July 18th. Unless Andy doesn't mind us starting without him, and he will just catch up with us in the next town (you might rendezvous with him there)? We will all have to work to keep annoying magical items out of the hands of Mike. Right? Of course right! Okeedokee!
