A the thud of a drum, some cellos hum,
the beat is intense, i feel my heart quicken as the music begins.
Violins let out small cries of terror, and the woodwinds lend their stacatto voices.
Human voices come in.
Japanese, but it sounds almost like a church choir.
....then.. an electric guitar jam solo.
A blend of western-classical-sounding music, and hardcore Japanese bad-ass rock.
In what concert hall do you find this?
You don't.
Well, unless it's a "Pops Concert".
This amazing mixture is out of a video game's soundtrack.
I smile at the irony of my situation, as I sit down to write a paper about the evils of video games and their affect on today's youth.
I tap my toe to the music, and start to type.
