Definitely never thought I'd see something like this:
http://www.cnn.com/2006/US/06/09/fixed.cats.ap/index.html Crazy, man. Wonder where it'll go... if other states will do it, too.
I mean, my dog is neutered. Any dogs (or cats, for that matter) I get in the future will be either spayed or neutered. I'm a huge advocate of it. I hate going to the dog park and seeing all those big macho guys with their big macho pits with their big macho balls still hanging all over the place... I mean, had people out there been a bit more thoughtful and decided to actually care about their pets, Strider never would have had the rough beginning he endured - completely infested with fleas and ticks and left out in the wilderness to die with the rest of his siblings... it's makes me *sooo* angry just thinking about it ;ppp But, on the other hand, I am immensely grateful to have him now. I wouldn't give him up for anything in the entire world. ^_^
Speaking of the monster dog... we had our yearly vet exam today, and got all caught up on immunizations for the rest of the year. :D Dang man, vet bills are expensive ;p I saw this flyer thing for "pet health insurance" and I am now seriously considering getting it, once I graduate... cause like, $150 just today, for the exam and the vaccinations and all. It might be something worth looking into, anyway. ;p But!! On the positives, Strider behaved like a total gentleman the whole visit :D He got up on the scale like a good boy, and was very friendly with the vet techs and the doctor, and didn't even put up too much of a fuss when he was given his shots ^_^ The doctor was even impressed with his clean bill of health - she said he was at a perfect weight, and that he looked fantastic. I'm so proud of him :D hehe.
Anyway, it's like, way late... and Kevin is still here, so I probably ought to give him some attention...
Why can't it be August yet?? ;ppp
