The distress was my own Elros , caused by my own life.

And Elrond , I felt when I first returned that you and I had much to talk about , but you apparently did not. Perhaps as sad as it is there is nothing , in your mind , left to say.

Not so much that there was nothing to say as I was too uneasy to formulate some to say. If anything, you have more rights than I where gwanunigen is conserned.

We have children together and are married so I think that I indeed have a right , many rights where he is concerned. However, they are not romantic so do not fear. I simply wish to understand what happened to the elrond I knew.

In all likelyhood time has worn him down, given him much to worry and dispair over. It does worry me how depressed he can become.
